Nikoleta was born in Thessaloniki in 1980. She graduated with distinction from the Greek State School of Dance and holds a BA in Dance from the Rotterdam Dance Academy.

As a performer, she has collaborated with choreographers and directors including Konstantinos Rigos (Dance Theatre of the State Theatre of Northern Greece and the National Theatre of Greece), Sophia Mavragani (Fingersix/Athens), Amalia Bennett (State Theatre of Northern Greece), Argyro Chioti (Vasistas), Eleni Georgopoulou (POLIS), Maria Gorgia (Amalgama), as well as Michail Marmarinos and Gemma Hanson Carbone in projects presented as part of Eleusis European Capital of Culture 2023. She has worked as movement director for numerous theatre productions, and regularly develops improvisational performances and stage experiments in collaboration with musicians and artists from different disciplines.

Since 2007, she has been teaching movement and improvisation at the Delos Higher School of Dramatic Art. In December 2018, she taught within the postgraduate programme Theatre and Society: Theory, Performance Practice and Pedagogy at the Department of Theatre Studies of the University of the Peloponnese.  She is a founding member of Fingersix/Athens, an organisation dedicated to the research and dissemination of the performing arts, and of Common Era, a non-profit cultural organisation based on Aegina. She was also a member of the organising team of the Tsak Bam Festival, a spontaneous contemporary arts festival.

She has lived on the island of Aegina since 2012 and is the mother of two children.
